You could put feathers in the solid purple border. I might put a tight grid in the small star blocks background so that the stars will poof out a little bit.

As has been said many times WOW! This is a gorgeous quilt. You did wonderful work. I can't even imagine trying to make this quilt, let alone without a pattern. Again, WOW!
