TC, Your quilt looks fine. Just remember that when you are all finished and bound to pin it down on towels or the like and spritz it with water. When it dries it will be blocked and lay nice and flat.

Don't worry if the fabric appears thin to you! Your quilter can use a white batting and then it won't appear thin at all. It's one of the sweetest things I've seen ... the colours are perfect and the Pooh characters adorable. It looks so soft and snuggly, perfect for a new baby.

This quilt is beautiful. I have some cloth with pastel check teddy bears and some pastel check cloth. After seeing your quilt I now have an idea as to what to do with mine.

Re: Log Cabin Baby Quilt
I just found this "thread" while looking for info on prewashing fabric and this is a beautiful quilt top! I love it. I like that the "logs" are opacque material (where you can see the seems) as I think it gives them depth. The baby will love it, I am sure of that. I have not made a log cabin quilt (heck, I haven't made A quilt, yet!) but this is one of my favotite patterns. I love the print and colors you chose. Gives me ideas!! Thanks for sharing your photos.

I really love your quilt top! It is very nicely done. You are being way too hard on yourself sweetie. You are doing a great job, now just relax and enjoy. You really did a great job!!!!!!! I had probles wiht the tiny puckering that you are talking about and I think I was holding it to tightly as I was sewing it. When I watch El's DVD's it looks like she gently holds onto her fabric. Not me, boy if I am not in a good mood, I get a death grip on it! LOL Sometimes you can steam the puckers out of the blocks, sometimes not. I sure would not worry about yours as it is barely noticeable. Good Job!

I don't see any puckers! The quilt is beautiful and so sweet. You did a great job! I know how you feel though; I want mine perfect too, but, sometimes, it just doesn't work that way, LOL. Enjoy your quilting and have fun with it....they are handmade, so, expect some mistakes sometimes. I do not see any mistakes in your quilt but do see a lot of love and a big heart. The baby will love it too.....

It looks so "snuggly"! The baby will probably still be carrying this blankie with him when he starts to walk with all the "Pooh" characters on it. Love the color placements also.
Have Fun,
