IowaGal you could have started with something a little more simple, but that is very pretty. You did a great job.

That is Absolutely Awesome !!!! One of these days I will get the itch to do something like that. I really like the colors too.

What a great job.

Paper piecing is not my favorite thing to do. A friend who has since died of cancer gave me a log cabin that she had started that was paper pieced. The strips weren't cut evenely and I think I did more seam ripping then sewing. Have never layered and finished the quilt.

Again Beautiful job.

That is just beautiful. It was a good idea to do something like this because it really gave you a chance to get the method down...you won't likely forget it now. Wonderful! Are you going to make more and put them together for a small quilt or wall hanging? Great job!

By the way, the instructions are still on the "technique" thread if anyone else wants to print them off...I am glad I could help.

You did a fabulous job! I've not done any paper piecing yet, but I know I wouldn't be as brave as you to do something that spectacular.

Great job, loved the colors.
