I was thinking about making templates and sending them to everyone in the swap! How does that sound??? We could use colors **similar** to those in the spring line, or **similar** to the one that I posted from the fair - would that work??!!

I'm currently making that rose quilt in rust tones. All that it needs is quilting and finishing up.

I'd love to be in a french rose swap if we do it. count me in!

Just bear one thing in mind when making the blocks for the swap... You don't wash and dry the blocks until the quilt is totally finished, meaning quilted too!

to those wondering about the pattern, I'll check after the gym workout to see if there's a website with a link for the french roses.

If anyone is interested in getting the pattern for the "French Roses" design, it's in the "Quilt Pink" magazine that's out on the newsstands right now. That way we'd already have our pattern once the swap gets started.

I've never heard of that magazine either, but then, there's a lot I haven't heard of! Where else would the pattern be at?

It's a special edition of Better Homes and Gardens Quilt Pink is the name of the addition. Just to let you know it's $12.95 I've had to buy it at our local book stores not all of the department stores are carrying it. Here is the one I did I posted this picture on another topic. It was a really easy and fun project.
