Hi Patsyann06
Just was reading back on this thread and realized I did not answer your question. The mystery person holding most of my quilts is my DH. He is always the first person I get to show a completed project to, and he always does the proper oohs and aahs. Then, no matter what he is doing he comes and holds the quilt for a picture. He's getting to be quite a professional at it. He is very supportive of this habit of mine. But sometimes I wonder if he isn't glad it gives me something to do so he can watch baseball and football games and not feel guilty. LOL At least football is mostly on Sundays, but baseball is every day.

I just saw the baby quilt with the rectangles & squares. Grammy is that called "Bricks & Blocks"? I have made it sev. times using diff. sizes but for a baby quilt, your dimensions are my favorite. Did 2 in 30's fabrics and they were so cute. This is a good one for flannels too. Yours is just beautiful. Well ALL of your quilts are beautiful.

Hi Cathy...you are right...it is called Bricks and Blocks. It is a great pattern don't you think? Makes up so fast. Someone (I think it was Oasis) had asked about it and I can't find the name of the magazine it came out of. Do you know?

I couldn't find the pattern, but what a great website. There was one item that I have been paying $17.99 for and they have it for $14.99. I definitely bookmarked that site. Where did you find the pattern on the site?

I typed in 'brick blocks quilting pattern' in the search engine and it popped us with 3 places I could buy it and Create for Less was there and the least expensive. When you were at Create for Less was there a place where you could enter what you are looking for?

Found it when I went back. They even carry the Mettler thread which I piece with. Want to go back and look around some more. Thanks for letting me know about this site. I will have to let Oasis know about this site. She was wanting to maybe do this quilt.

LOL I must have gotten the pattern dimensions from Lord only knows whose magazine. All I have, is written in a note book:
Need 7 of the 3 1/2 in. squares for the blocks & 7 of the 3 1/2 X 6 1/2 in rectabgles for the bricks. Would give you a finished size of 63 inches wide.
28 Rows of these bricks & blocks gives you 63" wide & 78" long.
Aren't ya'll thankful I do not write instructions for others? ROFLOL. Grammy I remember this coming out of a quilting magazine maybe in the late 90's or early 2000. Must have been my pal's mag. that is no longer with us. But it is a very fast & fun, scrappy quilt. Or you could coordinate a color scheme.
