I have made 25 quilts (I think, I've lost count) in the last 4 years. Two of them I kept. One of those is a King Size bed spread that Is on my bed and the other is a single size. And there is another that was made by several of us in a quilt swap. My sister also participated in that project. I have also made curtains for two rooms a table cloth and two runners. All the other quilts I have given away except for one that I sold for $50.00. Now I am working on a window covering for my bedroom with a Frank Lloyd design. It is taking more time than I thought. Had to give it a rest. But I should have it done soon.

I still have a lot of the quilts that I've made. The first one, a Rail Fence, of course, I could not part with. Since that was so easy, I decided to make a Rail Fence for my niece. It was a bit bigger and my quilting on it was gastly, but she's only 5 so I didn't think she would care...LOL! The next two where Log Cabins (and my first QIAD book). One I kept and the other I gave to my dad. Next was an Irish Chain that was to be for a friend, but ended up living at my house and is now a part of my futon in my office. My biggest one to date is the Winning Hand (aka Card Trick) quilt that I did for our bed in black and greens. I love this quilt and so does my hubby. I just finished a flying geese lap quilt for my aunt and am currently finishing up a rag quilt for my living room. And them I've got a list of people who I want to make stuff for so when the right patterns and fabrics come along, they'll get their quilts.

So, I give away some and keep some. My husband thinks that since I like quilting, I should sell some of my quilts, but that's not the reason why I quilt and I'm not good enough to sell anything. I just like it because quilts make a home cozy to me and generally, people like getting a quilt because it is something that I made for them.

So far I've only given away one queen-size and kept the others that size but I've given away all the finished baby, crib, lap and twins plus a few wall hangings, & pot-holders. (I have a couple of wall hangings such as the picture below, because they won awards at guild quilt show.)

Found the other photo of wall hanging I still have. Oh yes, I will also keep most of the quilts from El's classes, Block Party (of course, El has several of them them right now! I think I gave her around 4 for possible includion in book on calendar quilts and she's had my Victory Quilt since November 2007!)

I have 4, 2 are mine and 2 are DH's of the 40 some I have made. twice I have made delectable Mountains (I love that pattern) and they have gone to others that loved it too.

I have a couple projects I am working on that Iwould like to keep, but if someone comes along. . .

DH told a friend of his "She just makes them to give away."
wrong, I make them because I love them.

I have the very first top I made as it was such a mess I have never had the nerve to try to quilt it. I may one day but it will really require a LOT of nerve & patience AND determination. That was 12 yrs ago. Other than the Signature Swaps we did here, I have no other quilts that I have put together or quilted. They amazingly all walk out of here soon as they are bound. My quilts made from the Sig. Swaps will never ever leave this house!!!!! When I am down or sick, I love to wrap up in it and look at all of the blocks from the sweetest friends on earth. I have the Fall quilt done in Through the Seasons fabric done, now I need to put together the one we did first with the 30's reproductions together. Thanks for this topic!

I have made 39 quilts of varying sizes that I can recall right now - 28 of which have been given away. I've kept 2 queens, a twin, and a couch throw, along with 7 wall hangings. I have four more under construction right now - 2 queens to be given away, a full for myself, and another wallhanging.

I only have one. That one is very special because all of the blocks came from El's Angels!!!
