The pattern was in an old quilt magazine, Quiltmaker, September/October l993!! Yikes, I am getting old! The templates and quilting pattern, called "wind swirl" were in the magazine pattern. I wanted a bigger block, so I redid the pattern on Electric Quilt and made it 10" instead of 7-1/2".
I did the quilting on my domestic Juki...marked the pattern with chalk pencils.

Very beautiful quilt! I love how the leaves are made of multiple colors -- just like leaves in the fall as they change are not completely the same color.
