Thank you all for all the hugs, kisses and kind words for little Trixie-- I sent her mommy the link so that she can see what you all are saying! :-)

She will probably be about 25 pounds when she's grown. My Mom has a male-- I'll try to post his picture, too. He's so sweet and just beautiful! Skipper (Mom's eskie) is very shy with strangers, but he's VERY sweet with people he knows-- very, very gentle and calm. For anyone who may be thinking of getting one, about the only downside to them is that they shed a LOT-- BUT, they are SO clean and have no doggy odor at all. Their hair seems to just shed dirt-- they stay white as snow all the time.

I got to see Trixie this weekend, and could not believe my eyes--- that little girl plays fetch! LOL I'm serious! You can roll a ping-pong ball on the floor, she'll run and grab it and bring it right back! You have to take it from her-- she doesn't drop it on her own yet, but she will fetch it over and over!! She's going to be a smart one! :-)

(sorry for all the bragging-- but I'm getting in practice for when I have a real grandbaby to brag on ;-)

Gwen you can brag on that little doll all you want. She is such a cute little pup!!!!!!! Her coat sounds exactly like our Malamutes. It repels mud and dirt and they have no dog odor either. They get a bath about once a yr. The white on them is always snow white. ANd yes they shed a great great deal. But with a Dyson vacumm used a couple of times a day it is not bad. Trixie is a really pretty little puppy & I enjoy the pics. So feel free anytime to share more of her.

Hugs & Love

Oh, I absolutely LOVE malamutes--- they are beautiful dogs! I always thought I would love to have one, but I think our climate would be miserable for a dog like that... Would love to see pictures of yours, Cathy!

I just love dogs of all kinds. My list of "would love to have" is always growing! LOL The latest addition to the list is a pomeranian. They're just so tiny and precious!

LOL Gwen, Our Malamutes def live in the A/C vents all Summer. LOL If you do a Search for: Post Family Christmas pictures, there is a pic of me and Dillon on the left & Sascha on the right down towards the bottom of the page. Dillon is a sweetheart and a very soft hearted, sensitive guy. Sascha is always happy and goofy. Best way to explain her is "The lights are on but nobody is at home," however she is as smart as can be. She just acts nuts. LOL I love them. Dillon & I just have a special bond & always have. People laugh and say that you can tell that he is in total adoration of his Mama.LOL But I adore him too. After these 2, there won't be anymore Mals though. We are not getting younger & this breed needs to be kept busy. A bored Mal is not a good thing. LOL I do love Pomeranians too. Have you seen an Alaskan Klee Kai? They are maybe smaller than the Eskie's but look just like a Malamute. They are adorable. I love dogs! Always have. Please take pics often so we can watch Trixie grow up. She's a doll.

Hugs & Love

Nothing like a new puppy, they are so much fun. This one is no exception she is so very cute. Max likes to go in the car when we go so my hubby made a stand for him that fits inbetween the front seats of both cars And of course has his own quilted cushion to cover the stand and make it comfy
