What a beautiful wedding! The setting is almost magical. The picture of you and your Mom will always be a special one to share with all the younger family members. You and Bill looked like you just stepped out of a magazine, your dress was so nice.

Thanks for sharing the pictures, and we've missed you here on the forum.

Take Care,

GP - your dress is beautiful. You looked gorgeous and Bill cleans up really well! LOL Grandmonkey is a little doll. I love the picture of the wedding party with those red flowers in the background - they match the girls dresses. It was a beautiful wedding. And now I'm ready for pictures of your week at the cabin and the 3 generation sew-in.

So glad you got that wonderful picture of you, Daphne, and your mom together....you all have the same beautiful smile. The wedding was gorgeous as was the entire wedding party and the setting. Your dress was perfect for the occasion and Bill and Jason were both looking pretty spiffy too. Your mom and stepdad are a cute couple. He reminds me of a movie actor and I haven't been able to come up with who it is.
Now you can let out a sigh....that you really enjoyed it but you are glad it is a memory now...LOL

Oh my goodness, thank you so much for all the sweet compliments! I tell you, it was hot and humid as the devil that day, in fact, we had to change the seating at the last minute and put Bill's and my parents in the shade on the patio behind the chairs on the lawn. We were afraid they'd pass out from heat and there were ceiling fans on the patio. 30 min. after the ceremony it cooled down considerably. The photographer took a lot of family pics and I'm anxious to see those. The necklace and earrings I wore was the set I told ya'll about, my dad gave it to my mom for her H.S. graduation while he was stationed in San Diego in the navy.

Bill had such a good time that he says he wants to have a reaffirmation of our vows and a dinner for our 25th anniversary! LOL! He has a blast at weddings and any kind of get-together. It was so funny, at the reception my dress had been hemmed too long to dance and my shoes were killing me, and DH wanted to dance. I finally decided to bust loose and pull yet another Lucy Ricardo stunt, yep, picture this redneck scene....I yanked that dress up at the waist and tucked it into my panty hose about 3", kicked those shoes off and got out there and boogied in comfort! LOL! I just can't behave no matter what or where, no matter how hard I try! LOL! I told that lady at the alterations shop that I wouldn't be able to dance with it that length and she insisted it was perfect, and I spent the entire wedding holding the dress up a bit at the side just so I wouldn't trip. Anyway, I finally dealt with it good! LOL!
Thanks again for all the nice compliments, you sure made me feel good and it was so sweet of ya'll!
