SFQUILTER AND SWEET SARA JANE:
Sfquilter! Lake Tahoe! Oh, now you want me to cry? My parents had a cabin near there when my brother and I were little.
Sweet Sarah Jane I do like your quilt. I made a smaller outdoorsy one for my brother years ago. Quilt shop flyer had a small picture of a sportsman like quilt and fabric. After I drove there, found out it was a display and no pattern. Got the matching fabric then cutting the main fabric wrong had to go back to get more, then,I got it right. I was pretty proud of myself as I was a new quilter. It had either duck or pheasants on it. Speaking of pheasants - we had 10,000,000 of them here for hunting season at the end of last year. Wonder who counted them all - ha.
Have lots of deer in my yard, no bears yet, but mtn. lions.
You really did a lovely job on your quilt and I like the fabrics you used.

That turned out beautiful.. I too made a wild life quilt and found out the men just love them.. Even offered to buy it.. Only I used the snow ball pattern and pictures of wolves, bear, deer, elk, skunks, otters and so on.. but love your bear one with the bear paws on it.. Great work and know it will be loved. It was fun wasn't it. I may do another some day.. Thanks for sharing..

That is a really wonderful way of using panels. I never thought of that so far as quilting making went. I have seen panels and said to myself how would you use them.
Thanks for the pictures.
