Labbie,

I will have this machine quilted. I'm uncertain what she uses for bat. I'm new to this, thanks for the tips about not pulling on the fabric. I hate the thin fabric, but that's all I could find in baby colors. Yes, all my fabric's are prewashed, do you prewash all yours?

Thanks again!

I find it very cute and the baby will never even mention the puckers. Well maybe in those teen years. I always use Hobbs or Warm and Natural batting.

Adorable quilt! Don't worry about those small puckers...once it is quilted, I doubt they will be noticed. Be proud of your lovely work!

What a great quilt. It would have been awesome when my niece was born -- I was knitting then.

As for prewashing fabric -- at one point 100% of my fabric was prewashed. Now, I'd say it's only about 95%. I don't wash my 30's fabrics - and they are kept separate. I also don't wash fabric which I'm going to use for a Stack-n-Wack type quilt. I like to crispness of the fabric - although if I wash yardage, and then decide to use it later for a stack-n-wack I'll use spray starch to stiffen it up.

Oh what a darling quilt! I had to put my face right on the screen and search for those puckers you were talking about....it's gorgeous, and I love your soft color choices. Nice job!

Love the quilt. I may steal your idea. I have three baby quilts to make and yours looks really nice.
Don't worry about the puckers ... it all comes out in the quilting ...

Very pretty, just love the pastels and the Winnie the Pooh images. Baby will love it, and be all comfy and hugged by your love.

Very nice. I don't see puckers so if you do I'm sure they will disappear after quilting. I love the idea. Would have never thought to do that with a log cabin (putting pictures in the middle). Great Job! Laura

I don't see anything wrong!! It's beautiful!!!

I do the same - over criticize my work! If there's one seam that doesn't meet correctly, or ANY puckers in the back, or not square down to the millimeter, I'm not happy!

Sit back, and enjoy this wonderful quilt!
