All these beautiful quilts show the variety of talents and expertise of the folks of this QIAD Forum.
GeorgiaPeach - love the quilt!! Blue and white and Daisies/plus the efforts of Maggie to quilt it.
and poor neglected tired out Daisy in her bed with her own little quilt.
Oasis, Birds of Paradise came to mind before I read your post. Beautiful.
CindyB - love your quilt - great colors and so well chosen.
........can't get to each and all, but I am proud of you.

Peach,
So glad you stuck with that seminole border. It really makes the whole quilt zing. It is so beautiful. Love everything, pattern, border, fabric choices. You got it together girl.
I'm afraid I was struggling with mitering a double border and was so pleased to get that finished. I'm going to try to do some quilting on it tomorrow (bout time, huh?) But I am determined to have it ready if I have to tie it. I don't usually machine quilt so this could be dangerous. I'm going to practice a little first and if I get too frustrated with the practice session then I will tie it.
See ya in Paducah! Nancy
Sat night at our party I'll be the one in the corner sewing the border on. LOL

Move over an make room for another quilter running behind on her Paducah quilt. We can set up our own little sewing corner at the meet and greet to finish up our quilts.LOL
I have about 1/4 of the quilt to finish quilting and then I have to add my binding. I hope to have it finished and photographed later this evening, that is if all goes as planned today.

GP- Your quilt is absolutely stunning! I love the fabric choices and their colors. All your fabrics worked in 'harmony' to create an exquisite quilt. KUDOS to you on a quilt well done...and 'double the KUDOS' for giving it away to a needy individual. I know whoever receives it will cherish it. ~Marcia

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! I got it done! Now don't laugh - it's the first one I've ever actually finished. Good thing Caren (Mastiffmomqlt) was available for online coaching LOL, I couldn't have done it without her.
