Wow Bev - We didn't even get half of that mess, although they are calling for more tonight through Tuesday. We had a nasty ice storm about 2 years ago, and we just happened to be outside trying to break up the ice off the driveway when a huge limb broke from our oak tree and landed directly on our gas meter, yep it broke it and natural gas was blowing out, was very scary, luckily the break was after the shut off valve, Keith managed to get it shut off before anything blew up. Glad you still have power :)

It looks so pretty, but, very cold! Love your home and property...very nice to see the view from your sewing room and the deer. Thanks for sharing. It is about 80 degrees here right now in December!! We had a light snow fall 2 Christmas Eve's ago...it was wonderful and so pretty. Happy Quilting and Merry Christmas!!

WOW ... thanks for sharing the pics.

When we lived in the mountains, in the woods, we had a major storm like that, lasted 8 days till things were back to normal. Probably had 3 solid days of ice and freezing rain. No power, water, bathroom faciliies for 8 days. That was it ... come spring we moved.

Beautiful to see, but very hard to live through. It sounded like gunfire when the trees were breaking off and you never knew where they were cause we were "deep in the woods" ...

Stay safe and warm.

Frosty definitely looks frozen! Althought the pictures look beautiful, I am sure the ice and temperature is not fun.

Aren't ice storms fun. We had one several years ago and it sounds like a war is going on when you go outside. Stay safe and warm Bev.

Bev, that looks cold. We heard from my FIL in Decatur, Il. that there was an inch of ice on everything. Be careful. Lori

WOW! How beautiful! Maybe not to be in, but definitely to look at and appreciate mother nature!
