Re: BRIGHT baby quilt
Love this---just goes to show that baby quilts don't have to be pastel. I've heard that baby's like bright colors, too!

Wow, how cute. What a great pattern for a whole cloth too. That is one lucky baby.

That is so awesome! I love your border and you've given me yet another idea for a baby quilt for a friend due in March.

Love the colors and the borders. I love the brights too. I am torn between 30's, brights & scraps. I think the design is perfect and the print is so cute it speaks for itself. Thanks for sharing Nancy

Mastiff, you did an excellent job on the quilting. It's beautiful. I like your idea of using the whole piece of fabric and not cutting it up. Terrific quilt.

Caren, VERY cute! I can see why you didn't want to cut up the monster fabric! Great job choosing the colors and I love the border made of blocks!

I love bright baby quilts, and yours is just too darn cute. You really did a great job with placing all the fabrics.
I have a longarm and can't do as good as you do with your domestic. I have to admit...I don't get a lot of practice. If you ever get one I can see that you would do great on it. For the life of me, I cannot get the hang of free motion on my domestic.
Anyway...it's a great quilt.

Love the colors, and I am no where NEAR being able to quilt like that yet. I'm working on a baby quilt that has 5" squares -- all different novelty fabrics, with 1" borders around each square -- not sure how I will quilt. Everytime I try the free motion my stitches are all kinds of lengths!! Need to practice.

That is neat, I love it.. How clever not to cut up the fabric and leave it whole.. Love your border too. You did this on a regular machine. I must try that, I doubt I would be as good as you.
