That log cabin is very nice and very nicely quilted too! The rag quilts will be great for the kids or grandkids. And your grandmother would be so happy that someone cared for her hard work...and finished caring for it! That is a mark of an old quilt when you see tiny pieces put in to finish a block!! Don't you just love what you have done...good for you. Keepy quilting!

You are so blessed to have such a treasure. You've only been quilting since January. What a beautiful job.

Susie, you should be very proud of yourself. The job you did on your grandmother's quilt is wonderful. It's hard to believe you've only been quilting since January. The rag quilts will be loved by the kids and I don't blame your DH for loving the log cabin. I love log cabin and you did an excellent job.

All of your quilts are so nice. Hard to believe you just started quilting in Jan. I have 2 quilt tops that were made by my grandmothers
and I keep thinking about quilting them.... thinking is as far as I get. One was made in the early 30's and the other in the late 40's. Mine are a bit stiff, were yours? Do you do any prep to them before sandwiching them? I don't think mine are as pretty as yours but I keep hoping the quilting would improve their looks.

Beautiful job on finishing the antique quilt top!! What a treasure for your family to have. I also love the scrappy log cabin! What a great look!

Susie- All your quilts are gorgeous! I think when you hand quilted your heirloom top, you finished a piece of family history that can be handed down for generations to come. It certainly is a beautiful "legacy".
I am partial to Log Cabin quilts and yours is beautiful. I'm sure DH is enjoying it! ~Marcia
