I sure wish we had some towns like that around here. It is all so modern in comparison.

That is a wonderful type of living.

I can't find words to tell you how much I enjoy the pictures. I keep going back to look again. It is as though you live in a magical kingdom with many many stories to tell. The buildings are awesome, the ivy growing on the library is beautiful and everything looks so clean. I'll bet the winter is just as pretty too. Hint Hint
Thank you so much for sharing with us. You are a lovely girl.

LOL, desertquilter, I can certainly take a hint...:-) Here's the top of the fountain, again, covered in some 8 inches of snow last winter:

And, no, I'm not obsessed with the fountain, but I have soon photographed it throughout the year, with some kind of four seasons quilt project in mind (to be completed when I retire, LOL!)

Will get back to all of you with answers to your questions tonight after work. Thanks all for your kind comments!

Europe is so much different than here. May be going back to Norway next spring.

What great photos. I would give up US citizenship to move to someplace like that. No cars, less politics (world envolvement), and a slower life style. When I was spending time in Ireland I understood what personal freedom was really like.

The US is great don't get me wrong, but all I hear is politics and how we effect everything. Frankly, I don't want to be thought of at all, I just want peace for the world and the spirit.

That is so not fair! All I get to see on my way to work is industrial sites and traffic!

Wow! That is truly a beautiful place and I envy you to no end!
