Re: I woke up a sleeping giant
What an absolute beauty he is. I would have him (or one like him in a flash) but my DH says "WAY WAY WAY TOO BIG" ... and he's right. Living in the city we wouldn't have room for him to run and play so it wouldn't be fair.
Good that he takes such good care of you. Give him an extra pet and hug from me!

What a beautiful dog! We may think we take care of our furbabies, but they take care of us, in many ways. They really do have a "6th sense" about when we're sick or need help. I have low blood pressure, too, and do that "almost passing out thing" a lot, especially in hot weather. Used to embarrass my kids a lot when we'd be in the grocery store and I'd feel it coming on and would get as close to the floor as I could get until it passed! That was the only bonus to it....a chance to embarrass my kids! ROFLOL!!!

He's a cutey!! I love big dogs.I have a German Shepard named Ginger. She adopted us.We've had her for 5 years.I've had 4 back surgeries and she's been my nurse everytime. When I have come home from the hospital she does'nt let anyone near me.When I have a bad night she gets up and checks on me to make sure I'm okay. I love her so much.My DH says I've spoiled her rotten. I tell him that he's just jealous!

This best friend slept on the back porch. He went to his favorite haunt (The creek) and then came home in the rain. St.s get DIRTY and whilst I am not the most fanatical housekeeper, there was NO WAY that muddy mess was walking in my house! He gets a bath this afternoon.
