Bev, good for you! I'm so proud of you and the quilt looks wonderful! Are you going to frame your blue ribbon and put it in your sewing room? This is just awesome! Congrats!

Thanks everyone. I did this because others were going to also. Now I can't remeber who else was going to enter this summer. I have never had a ribbon for anything so I don't know what I am going to do with it. I know I will want it on my sewing room wall. Do they make a case or something for them? I hope this helps my Longarm quilting business it takes awhile for everyone to know what you are doing.I did put one of my business cards on the back of the quilt. I think in the summer everyone is playing and not quilting as much. I have been steady busy but would like to have a more quilts to quilt. Thank you so much for you great comments. I appreciate all of you and your comments mean so much.

SEE! Everyone should try. If you don't think you ar ready, make it a priority for next year. I am working on this wall hanging for my entry at the end of the month. Ken says I am being overly critical. I just don't know. I will post a pic when I am finished.

Congrats, Bev!

Nadine, they do make display cases for things like that. My sister and I got one to put my dad's navy medals in to display for him. This one was from Hobby Lobby and it has a glass front that opens up. We put black velvet around the insert, then sewed his medals on, some had pins so we just pinned them. It looks so cute. They had several sizes and designs to choose from. It has enough space where your ribbon wouldn't be smashed flat and I think it'd be perfect to hang in your sewing room where you could see it all the time and enjoy it!
