Now that is a lot of little tiny sqs to sew together. It turned out fabulous. I can see why someone would want to buy it. Great job. You are one very talented quilter.

Many hugs across the miles, Happy quilting. Shirley Mae

Wow--that is so cool! Now since it turned out so well and you are happy, coherent, and using words of 3 syllables, I'm guessing you used the fusible grid interfacing? Or did you acutally stitch all them hundreds of bitty squares together and still maintain your sanity LOL?

This is just beautiful!! Did you actually sew each individua square to other ones, or did you use a certain technique to sew them all together?? It is awesome!

Thank you so much ladies. NO,NO,NO, I did not use fusible grid interfacing. lol lol. I bought 16 to 18 different colors of blue, same for red and the gold background. I then cut each fabric into 1 and one half inch strips, then cut each strip into 1 and one half inch squares. I then sewed one square to a square under it, I kept going down with the blocks until I had eighteen. I did the second, third, fourth, etc, the same way. As I got each strip sewen, I would sew it to the strip before it, so when I got each section sewed, I had 18 rows down, and 18 rows across(the red white and blue sections was made seperately, then sewed to the other colors. So yeah, kind of did it the hard way, but had fun. I didn't loose my patience, but thought I would never get done. Linda
