Kristi.....You did a great job on the quilts! I too wish I had kept my Mom's clothes to make a quilt.

What a nice thing to do for your siblings! The quilts are really pretty. I am sure your siblings will not only feel their mother's love, but also the love you have for each of them. Beautiful work!!

Thank you all for your sweet comments. My sister & brothers were very touched and all loved the quilts.
I chose black & white & red for the borders because she wore those colors the most & just seemed fitting to put the black with her things. The quilt with the red border had a striped second border that turned out hideous. Instead of taking it apart, I appliqued the black flowered border over the stripes. The edges are not wavy like the picture looks, it was just laying on the grass.
