Very nice Flo! I love the braid pattern. I've made up so many baby/lap size quilts from that pattern that I thought I should move on to another pattern. LOL It is a productive way to use up scraps. I will probably send them to Quilterbee/Amie, much faster way to clean out the scrap bin.
Mellowyellow.........Welcome to the forum! It does sound like you had a perfect day. They are so rare. You mentioned your music and was wondereing if the "CELTIC THUNDER" singing group is on the radio over there. I saw them on our PBS (Public Broadcasting System) and they will be in San Diego on December 1st. My two nieces (12 & 13) are just facinated by Damian McGinty and his rendition of "Puppy Love". We have just about worn out the disk listening to it. LOL Sounds like he might be a big star someday.

Hi Oasis,
I hadn't heard of Celtic Thunder so I just googled them now. Of the 5 singers, the only one I've heard of is Paul Byram ( he has a more famous tv presenter sister.)That little Damian fella looks so so young! Now I see why your young nieces have a thing for him!
