Re: Pics From the RHM in Georgia
Ladies, thank you all so very much for your sweet comments! We went to visit my dad today and he loved seeing the grandmonkey. He's doing so much better than he was, but still very weak. Those two held hands and hugged and it was so touching, I could see the love for her in dad's eyes. Then we went to KFC for, what else, fried chicken, then a Linens-N-Things is going out of business and having a big sale, so we got some towels and things for the house. While we were there the Grandmonkey was talking with me and the aisle was full of people, so she raised her voice so I could hear her and said, "Big Mama, when we're finished here can we go back home and ride the tractor and scooter and have Papa take more pics of us with beer??!!" Oh my lord, you could have heard a pin drop in that place!! I was hoping the floor would open up and swallow me! ROFLOL! About 5 people were just staring at me and I looked around for DH to bail me out and he ducked around the corner and left me standing there! LOL! I couldn't think of one good explanation for what she was talking about! LOL! I just shrugged and said, "we've got some beer can wind chimes, that's what she's talking about." I got a few looks like "yeah, sure lady!" ROFLOL! Well, good thing I had what I needed in my cart because I got out of there at warp speed! ROFLOL! Then we hit the grocery store for stuff for burgers and fries tonight, and some grandmonkey food, and her Uncle is coming for dinner and we're going to carve a pumpkin.
Well, I'm being summoned to ride the John Deere again, so I've got to scoot.

Pam, your Grandmonkey has lost her baby face in just the past year. She is sure growing up fast. I think she is beautiful and that she looks just like her Big Mama. I love the pictures. Now, what I want to know is when are we going to see a picture of your sewing areas??? And all that stash??? The stained glass is just beautiful, too. The wind chimes are a hoot!

I am so very glad that your Dad is doing much better! Daphne is really maturing and growing up. *sniff* I think she looks an awful lot like her Daddy. Not a bad thing. She is a beautiful girl. Better get your clubs and sticks out because it won't be long before the boys will be chasing her. I guess they still do that these days? LOL Great pics! I love your quilt Chest. And your home is beautiful. Daisy looks proud in her pics. LOL

Peach,
These are wonderful pictures! My favorite is all 3 of your girls on the balcony - even Daisy posing for the "photo op"! That just made me chuckle! The Grandmonkey has really grown up and is just beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing these heartwarming photos!

Peachy,
So glad to hear that your Dad is improving. I have to agree with everybody else...Grandmonkey is maturing and just beautiful. Daisy has such a "dog's" life. LOL I have to know if your John Deere ever does any real mowing???? I have never seen such a clean lawn mower with no dirt even on the tires...or is it just your vehicle for fetching the mail??? The house looks fab...can't wait to see it all. Cyber-Sue
