I was working on both at the same time. This one is the one that was in the quilting frame. I was also making a crocheted afghan at that time.

Hey...guess what I'm doing Saturday????? Taking mom to Wally Mart to purchase fabrics and then we are going to start a quilt for Grandma up in Cottonwood! I'm hooking mom! I'll have her on here pretty soon too! I found a 6" block heart pattern made from three flying geese units. Very easy and pretty. I think she will really love doing this. She said she attempted quilting years ago, but sounds like she actually cut out triangles and tried to put them together individually. OUCH...so Saturday we are starting a new tradition of getting together every other Saturday or so for quilting.

LOL, Armymom, that is great! We had sooooooooo much fun making those totes when I was out there. I'd love to get her hooked on quilting, too. That is a fantastic idea of having your sewing date every other Saturday.
