Kristi, this is just beautiful! Thanks for sending in the pic of the quilt on the lawn...the indoor shots didn't do justice to the lovely colors you used.
Isn't finishing your first quilt a rush?! Is this a gift for someone? Do you have any plans for your next one? (Oh I am so nosy!)

What a lovely quilt! You have done a incredible job of selecting the fabric and your piecing is superb.
love the quilting too.
You know I started taking my photos outside too the natural lighting just makes the fabric pop!

Kristi you did a wonderful job with this quilt! I've just been trying the 2 or 3 color quilts myself and am finding I like them for a change. I like this pattern, I want to make a black/red quilt for my Son. His college colors were red/black and I think this pattern will do it. I like the chosen quilting pattern also.
Can't wait to see your next project, we all LOVE seeing project pictures.
Take Care,
Linda/Oasis

Re: Clay's Choice Quilt - My First
I didn't mean to mislead anyone, in the original post I said this is the first quilt I've made entirely on my own. I had only done a Beginner Class sampler quilt before this one and I had a lot of help on it. This one was all on my own and was machine quilted by a local LA quilter. Thanks for all the nice remarks, makes me want to go take pictures of the others I've done! Kristi
