Nice job Mary...and I really like the colors.
I straight line quilted mine also; but don't know how to post pictures on here.
I certainly hope the weather improves for all of you in the midwest.

I love the black and white. You did a wonderful job. These bags are so cute. I am glad you had something to do while waiting for the weather to improve.

Re: My Black/white Project
Sorry gals, I didn't really use a pattern! Just kind of winged it!
Used 5" charms and put them together, quilted them and that's about it! One thing I did a little different was to put of Cuff at the top, rather than sew the lining and turning it. Just put the lining in as it should go. Made a cuff by folding a trip in 1/2 wrong sides together and sewed to the inside and folded it over.
I have another one cut out and ready to put together, but might save that for a weekend at the cabin. There are great fun to make and I could make LOTS, just don't know what I would do with them all! IF I were to get really ambitious, I'd make one for each of the gals I work with--for Christmas. I'm keeping my ears open to see what their favorite colors are.
Been working around the house all day today, so it's time for my nap!

Marymargaret,
Beautiful! And to think you were hiding from tornados! That is good you had something to do to keep yourself busy. I'd have been too scared to do anything.
I love the black and white with red. Very nice tote. I am going to have to try one of these in my spare time! Sure....in my WHAT????
Hugs, Kathy

Very nice. I have quite a few fats of black and white and want to make a quilt or like your tote. Are you out of harms way with the weather? Pray that you are!
