Awesome job, Julia. You look so pretty in it, too. You are a lot braver than I was at that age. My mom made my prom dresses even though I could sew. School clothes was one thing - a prom dress was quite another (special). Good for you Julia. I bet not many of your classmates could say they made their dresses.

I don't remember who she showed the piece of fabric to - Pam, Bubbles, or Pat... I remember we were standing there and she had this 2" square of midnight blue fabric, and she had to promise to post pictures....

For those that didn't know, Julia went to the quilt class in Paducah with me, and met all the wonderful ladies from the forum! (She was the 17 y/o in class!)

She's starting to quilt - and I think that *maybe* next year I'll get her a Babylock, along with myself... DH isn't objecting, when we can get 2 for the price of 1!
