Hi MellowYellow,

You might try it with fleece but with the fusible, it doesn't move around while you are working on it. And it gets turned in and out a few times during construction so that is probably helpful. And doing the straps would be hard without it being fused. Maybe you could buy some online??

Wow! What an awesome tote!! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful pictures, too! A dear friend of mine just gave me this pattern, so now I'm wanting to make mine! NOW, lol! Such lovely, eye catching fabs, too. Have fun with it, and by all means share pics of your upcoming totes, too!!
