Re: Double pinwheel baby quilt
Again, thank you all!
Rose92, great to hear that your free motion is working out! About the bobbin area - yes, I too worry about possible lint behind/under the bobbin area, but my machine dealer says not to worry. So, probably it is no big deal. But, I've heard this vacuum cleaning tip somewhere, that I use a lot myself: take off the nozzle (or whatever the end part of the vacuum cleaner pipe is called), place an old nylon stocking (knee high type) over the end of the pipe, and then turn on the vacuum cleaner and just hold the end down in the bobbin area. That way, the lint behind/under it will get sucked up, but stick to the stocking, so you'll see if there would by any chance be any other stuff that accidentally came along. My dealer says this is totally fool proof, as long as you've taken off all the loose parts before you start, LOL! So, take away the bobbin case before you try this.

Oh, Maria your colors are just great, I love the wild pink, or whatever it is called, and your batiks also. How did you like San Francisco? I grew up near there.
Congrats on a beautiful job!
