The apples definitely show to better advantage in the second pattern.

Jan, those are all so pretty. Love the apple fabric. My DIL has an apple theme in her kitchen. She would love that look. My favorite is the one with the sqs in the corner and center. Really shows off the real looking apples. That would make a cute table runner for fall. Thanks for sharing with us. Anxious to see what all you come up with this apple idea. Hugs and happy quilting. all are neat i like the second one best it is so neat how you can make a simple movement and wala whole new effect
