OT - what I've been working on....

we use to have hard floors when I was young and we used what they call GYM Finish. Hard and stays shiny too. Like playing basketball on the gym floors. Would totally strip it every 3 to 4 years and use paint brush to put on. YOu know wax on , wax off. yea. My mom use to do this herself , Our living/dining room was 28' by 16', plus stairsteps too. One large 15'by 20' masterbed room, one 14' by 16' all was wood floors she redone herself.

We were little kids then. She alway did it herself to make sure done right, we mowed the yard, or kept nieces that were little off of them.

I certainly hope you aren't too tired to relax those tired muscles doing a little quilting before your eyelids close!! Nice floors....but I like your quilts better

To save money on a home my parents were having built here in !957, my mother varnished our oak kitchen cabinets. Builder told her they were beautiful.. Also my father paid a friend to build a fireplace in the basement and one in the living room. They were beautiful.

Your floors look wonderful.
