Abbigail, I can't give you a name for this design. I used four simple blocks and then rotated the blocks to map out the colors. I guess you could say it's kind of original, but not totally. I've done this with several projects. It's fun to see what can be created with a few block patterns and sometimes the result is better than you hoped. This isn't one of my best, but it didn't take long to make, used up some odds & ends, and has a great feel. It'll be perfect this summer as a light blanket.
The background is a green vine print from RJR's Country Lane collection ... and for the quilting I just stitched 1/4" along each seam.
