Re: Flower pincushion
Calico puzzle made up the first instructions and did a very good job.. I had lost my pattern and just pm her and told her how to make it and after she made one she made up the pattern... I now found the origonal pattern that is why I posted it but as you see it is the same as what she wrote.. She did a very good job of translating it. and I know she worked hard for so many wanted it that she even made copies and started to snail mail the instructions. Then because of so many she posted it on here.... that is why you have two sets of instructions on here. The ones I have seen are very nice.. I have made over a dozen of them and kept two. all the others were gifts. thanks gals for the responses...had to correct my spelling , hope I got them all right.

What a pretty fabric choice for the flower petals. Neat job. thanks for the pic.
Thanks for the pattern, Quilter78. I have taken this idea to make
3-D flowers to sew onto a quilt block. I will use a button or yoyo or something in the center after I stitch it on. I used smaller circles for smaller flowers but any size will work the same way. Great gift idea for pin cushions tho. Need to get busy and make them for all my sewing and quilting friends.
God bless, Shirley Mae
