Seems like I'm always collecting moms, Hummingbird, I'd be glad to include you:) Just don't expect anything before Christmas. I still have to finish this one, then hopefully work on a carpenter's star for my "real" mom, and maybe eventually something for my stepmom. This one's for my MIL Brenda who has become a third mom to me since my mom's gotten sick. I'm lucky to have all these women to care for me. It seems like I don't have much in common with women my age, but I get along great with women my mom's and grandma's ages.

Oh, forgot my godmother. I don't get to see her often, but maybe when I finish everything else I'm doing I'll get to make her something. I already have the pattern picked out, I just need the fabric:)

Aww thanks! I'm always collecting kids, LOL! I'll add you to the list! Most of my kids friends have called me 'Mom' and now that they're all getting married, the colleciton is growing! LOL

My MIL has been a HUGE blessing in my life as were DH's grandmothers.

when I see beautiful blocks like that... that's when I really really want an embroidery machine. I Just KNOW tho that if I ever got one... I'd NEVER want to go to work again and I wouldn't even be able to buy the thread for it!
