Welcome, your quilts are very nice.. I am happy to see some one on here from Manitowoc, I was born in Two Rivers, married after I graduated and left. I have lots of friends there and a nephew who lives there and my brother and a friend lives in Manitowoc. pm me and maybe we know some of the same people. Your quilts are beautifull. You will love this site. so many warm loving friends. They are very willing to help and answer any questions you may have. Very caring and you just might get addicted to this site as I have..I have only been on here sence May and feel like I know every one already. I would post some of my quilts but scanner went out. Maybe I can find a friend who can put them on for me. We will see. I have been quilting for a while but not steady.. I have made about 15 and lots of table runners and place mats. I prefer to do my own hand quilting.. Enough about me, Welcome aboard..........

Suz the quilt pattern was called nine patch and stripe quilt, in the "Still Stripping" QIAD book.

I'm glad you liked it. Sometimes it takes awhile to get just the right fabric, especially when it is a gift!

Beautiful quilts. I especially love the string quilt. My mother made a lot of those and that is going to be my next project, when I get my Big Brother back. The part is on back order so I have no idea when that will be.
