Beautiful quilt!

Kadie, QIAD has an easy way to make those triangles, you just put two squares, right sides together, draw a diagonal line on one side and stitch 1/4" on both sides of the line, cut on the line, press, open and press to the dark side and square up. For instance if you want a 2 1/2 inch half square triangle, cut your blocks at 3". You will be trimming off the excess for a perfect 2 1/2" block. If the pattern calls for a lot of them, Eleanor shows how to put two large blocks together and where to draw lines and you will wind up with a lot of blocks. Some books will tell you to cut your blocks at 2 7/8" for this method, but I hate having to measure that 7/8", I'd rather round it up and then trim.

I really, really like the colors in your quilt. I don't mind half square triangles now since I started using the papers. Goes so fast and very accurate. Such a beautiful quilt.

Your quilt is beautiful. And I love the colors. I don't get on line often (never enough time). But I ususally read the comments and look at the photos. Yall are an inspiration to me and I have learned a lot.
