Re: My before and after Kitchen painting project
Thanks for all the compliments! The whole house is that dark paneling. I've got pictures of the dining room, only after though. My camera wouldn't take pictures of before, wonder if that's a sign!?
I am very happy with the way it turned out and yes, it was hard work. I'm not going to lie!
The floor will be a later project, its an old house, so there are like 3 outlets in the kitchen, so we're going to try to install a few more then put in new flooring and maybe new floor moldings.

WOW what a difference. I instantly felt lighter when I saw the yellow and white. The yellow is pretty - kind of a buttery yellow is what it looks like on my monitor. Great job. I know it is hard work but you should be proud. I had a linoleum floor like that for years and it didn't show dirt. We put in a ceramic tile floor and it didn't show dirt either - it's all in the color flooring you choose - LOL. I got lucky.

Wow, what a beautiful difference! I bet it's so much nicer now to work in your new, lighter, cheerier kitchen! I used that same yellow/white color combo in my sewing room and I love it! What a lot of hard work you put into this, but from here, it looks worth all your effort! And thanks for shwoing us! I love old houses!

Traci,
Very nice! Good job!!
You give me hope, as I almost have everything out of my sewing room.

Hi, Traci-- Love your colors and your open shelves!!! I decided to leave some of mine open when we rebuild. I have the very same salt pot as yours. Mine is in the middle of my stove to keep the salt dry. I've always had a salt holder on the stove, as did my Grandma. Know you will enjoy your light, bright kitchen! Paint does wonders for paneling, doesn't it! What a lot of work, but how beautiful!!!
