Thanks for all your compliments! I love doing quilts like this. You can make you blocks any size really, just trying to vary them a bit, then you make them fit in by adding fabric strips, borders, more blocks, or whatever! I waited too long to even start this one, so that's why it was a rush to finish for Sat. morning, lol. I also made it up as I went along, digging through stash to find the right colors, so that made it more time consuming. But I love how it turned out & I'm sure I will be creating more like this. I think it would be neat to do a baby one, or one with a certain theme, or even a xmas type one, lots of possibilities! The book is great, so if you like my quilt top, you may want to add this book to your own stash!
Thanks for looking at my blog too. I have been working on the Sylvia's Bridal Sampler blocks, & have around 98 done now. Also started some Dear Jane blocks, so I am trying to post more quilty stuff on my blog to share, enjoy!

Jeri, for the border, if you look around the center square, of the peacock, & you see that border, black, with the purple, or the blue, in the corners, I am thinking of one like that, then maybe a wider black border after that, if it needs it. I guess I will know when I get to that point, but I think that would give it a nice finishing touch & tie it all together.....
