What a wonderful job. I love the Dresden Plate pattern. And I like your idea of hanging it from the curtain rod to take a picture.

Ladies! Do NOT be afraid to tackle this one! Especially if you have a machine with decorative stitching options. I didn''''t press anything under. I simply used a basting stitch to secure the plates and inner circles (there is usually just one but at my daughter''''s request, I used a small circle inside so I could incorporate the orange border color), then I used decorative stitching on the edges!

Beautiful. I love the dresden plate block. I haven't been brave enough to try it. Maybe I will try it if it can be done with dec. stitches.
