Thanks, all. This is one of the easiest quilts to make. Really. It looks so stunning and complicated ... but is a snap. I followed El's advise about measurements, and as long as I was careful, it worked out ... Magic !!!!
I guess I will make a table runner out of the "leftovers" .... but now that the baby is here I don't have as much nervous energy ... in fact I am pooped ... being a grandparent is hard work .... LOL

Sue, your colors just shine. You did a really great quilt, and your quilting looks very good. I love that quilt, I am seeing the pattern more, and telling myself this on needs to go on my to do list.

Those of you considering making this quilt, this picture shows how important it is to have lots of contrast in your day and night. Doesn't it draw your attention?
