It is beautiful & I'm sure the lady receiving it will love it. How special you are to make such a bright & cheery quilt for her!

Whimsical and fun are the best words that I can think of to describe this quilt. I know our niece is just at the very beginning of a long haul with having a double mastectomy in about 2, 3 at the most weeks. They have more tests including her heart. Then after that reconstruction then ovarie removal. She wants to stay very upbeat (and she is trying hard), so doesn't want gloom and doom and serious, so in my humble opinion the woman recieving this will totally be happy with the whimsical and fun (not to mention beautiful) quilt. It is a special group of people here that help and give so much. I am proud to be a member

Lori, I don't think I worded my post very well. What I meant in my heart to say was that this quilt is going to make the recepient (the woman in Orange County) smile, giggle a bit and hug it to pieces. What you do for people is amazing. YOur love, caring and sharing shows. If I can ever donate anything or help you with your work please let me know. I am not real talented with quilting yet but getting there and I LOVE TO shop for fabrics and supplies.
