Sally, can't wait to see yours. I am just facinated by this pattern!!

Thank you everyone for the positive and kind comments.

I'm thinking scrappy with a common background. The star would be of different dark and light of scraps. Or a baby quilt with the stars being yellow/gold; aqua/turquoise; peach/orange; and lavendar/purple. Do the background in a batik or marbled with all the colors. Or maybe the outside points in lavendar/purple and the little star center in peach/orange and the other with the yellow gold outside and aqua/turquoise inside.

Let me know what you are thinking about doing.....................

Very different and you did accomplish what you set out to do. The star does stand out and shine.
