Lowell: I saw a pattern somewhere, and I might have it is storage that looks like a Frank Lloyd Wright window. I frequently look at his glorious work. Love his home in Pa. "FALLING WATERS."
You did a wonderful job on this piece, I am sew impressed.

Cindyg and Oasis - we all seem to have been misled - I thought it was stained glass too!I is really fabric. Once I tried to find more about a technique called "pojagi" - it is Japanese and handmade - and reversible, neat from both sides. I have even made a small mat (by hand) useing this technique from soft, almost transparent material. This window hanging is a proof of endless patience and devotion! Compliments!

That's beautiful Lowell
what fabric did you use in the window to make it see through?
and what a beautiful view you have out that window.

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOU WONDERFUL COMMENTS !!!
This quilt took me about 2 months to complete. I made the first one out of scraps for practice which turned out to be twice the size of the one I made for the window. I will turn that into a quilt. So I guess that is double your pleasure double your fun. I have a dark brown fabric as the backing on the one I have in my window. It is on the notrh side of the house but when the light shines through it actually looks like stained glass. I have the bottom and a foot up each side from the bottom attached to the wall with velcro to keep the cold out. The bed is right under the window.
Thanks agaiin to all of you.
