BarbieJean - You did a great job on both projects. I know you really must have enjoyed the retreat. I really like the colors in the stack and whack. You did a beautiful job on it. The tote has an interesting pocket configuration. Is the HST a pocket?

Love both projects! Nice color combo on the tote and the stack/whack. I like the way you joined your S/W. I have some S/W blocks but have yet to find a complimentary fabric to join them. You have inspired me to get those back out and go shopping for that fabric again.

Have Fun,

The tote has creative pockets!! And I LOVE your Stack N Whack! I really like it when the fabric is used 'whole' for the borders!! Gives the rest of us an idea of what kind of pattern we could use! Thanks for sharing your photos - and so glad you had a good time at the retreat. You sure accomplished a lot.

xxxxxxxx

Thanks again for the nice comments. Here come the answers:

ctherrie - There are not as many tent sales as there used to be. Rogans still has a big one, but it goes on most of the summer.

Inka - Yes, it is sewn in horizontal rows and then the rows are sewen together.

Quilter7 - That really is not a HST. There are 9 charm squares pt on a trimmed fat qtr and then it is folder over. Yes, it does end up with interesting pockets on the front and there are also pockets on the inside.

and yes to all, I had a great time at the retreat. They sure are fun and I had my first ever massage. 1/2 hour of pure heaven.
