Great job, it amazes me sometimes how the simplist quilt pattern can produce great quilts. Some little girl is lucky to have a special gramma that can quilt.

Forgot to ask, looks like you appliqued the little flowers after you pieced the whole thing what a nice touch. The flowers are a great finishing touch.

Thank you. after I quilted and put the binding on I machine blanket stitched the flowers on just to give it something extra
By the way straight edges for boy quilts and scalloped for girls...now that the new mommies are learning the sex of their babies before they are born My friend whose first grandbaby this is for left a message on my phone...Hi it's Gloria and the edges are scalloped...lol

Grammie

that is so cute!!! Perfect for a little girl!

Which reminds me, I have to get my butt in gear and start the quilt for my grandbaby due mid April---at the rate I go I'll have it done for his/her first birthday!

We do not know what it's going to be--the kids wants to be surprised. So the fabric I have ready is gender neutral and I'm anxious to start it! Maybe if I sneak downstairs tonite to iron some pants for work tomorrow I can play with the fabric and see what I can come up with for a pattern. Oh wait..... I live alone---who'd care if I went down and sewed a little! LOL. Well DD lives here but she's not home tonite!
