They are beautiful! What a great idea to make quilts from your mom's clothes and very sweet of you to give them to your siblings as gifts.

I love your quilts. When my mom passed away I was not quilting. I wish I had thought to save some of her clothes "just in case". Such a great idea.

That is touching! My daughter has her baby quilt that her great grandmother made for her from scraps she had leftover when she sewed her own clothes. It was mostly polyester. It is already thirty years old. It will always remind us of great grandma Alice. Keep warm in those memories.

Oh, that is just wonderful. I was 19 yrs. old when my mother died and at that time I never dreamed I'd be making quilts in my old age so I didn't keep any of her clothing. Most of it was polyester - that was the going thing in 1970. Anyway, Kristi, your siblings should be so grateful to you for making these beautiful quilts. Good job.
