For us newbies on the list would you mind explaining to us what event was being held in Julian, where Julian is located and what are these quilts that you presented to Eleanor all about... it looks like it was an awesome time just really curious what it was all about.

Julian is where El has Bear Paw Ranch and she holds three quilt camps at a church camp near Julian. It is such a beautiful setting and I am so jealous that I couldn't go this year. I was there a year ago last May. Words can not discribe the view and being able to go to El's Ranch and have the freedom to go anywhere in her house and sewing room. She is such a gracious hostess.
