Thanks for all your lovely compliments! Yes, this quilt was alot of work, but I really enjoyed the whole process. Each strip, practically, was cut & sewn individually. As for the remaining blocks, as this is kind of a long lap quilt, or couch quilt, lol, am thinking of doing the same blocks, scrappy, in 6in size blocks, a few anyway, then doing a design with some of them & the four remaining 12in blocks. We actually got the directions for both size blocks, when we were doing these, so I am kind of leaning towards that idea. When I get that top done, I will post a pic of it too. These blocks, the fabrics used, though lovely, weren't exactly my style, so I liked the idea of incorporating them in a scrappy quilt & showing them off this way, & still having them show up pretty also...I am finding that I really enjoying playing around with different blocks & coming up with my own ideas when it comes to piecing them altogether into a quilt of one size or another.
Don't be afraid to play with any of your quilt blocks, or designs, this way, it really is fun & gets your creative juices flowing!

...by the way, I am self taught, but learning real fast, to think outside of the box!
