Yes and no. The layout is my own and three of the Iris I designed from my brother's photos, but two of the applique blocks are from books or magazines (I will have to look these up). I was inspired by Ruth B. McDowell's PIECED FLOWERS to do the paper pieced ones; I drafted them myself.
