Neice's Quilt---Need Opinions

I am a "pink" girl so I like the idea of using the pink for the corner stones and think the white would set off the rest of the colors. Thanks for the update about the light color being yellow, it was alittle hard to tell in the picture. I love the blocks and I am sure it will turn out great, can't wait to see a picture of it when it is finished.

Here's a new photo. I stared at the blocks laid out and couldn't figure out what was wrong... things just didn't look right. So after taking 4 blocks apart and re-sewing them... this is how it's supposed to look. Now I think I'll skip the sashing because the white background seems to form a pattern and I think sashing would break it up!

Will have to make a quick run to Joann to get more of the pink, but will for sure use that in the border!

My neice will turn 18 this next friday. She's heading off to college! She's pretty special to me because I am her God Mother and I got to be in the delivery room when she was born!
