We just thought about making it to the Quay County fair in Tucumcari. The state fair in Albuquerque might need a really big pumpkin, we will have to see how big it gets and what time it matures.

I hope you'll give us a weekly update! Love to see how it grows. We once moved at the first of October, and had a huge pumpkin from our garden. The pumpkin was seat-belted into the passenger seat of the moving van, much to our 12 year old son's delight!!

Is this a meat pumpkin or a carving pumpkin?

The DGK planted a pumpkin. It has flowered but I don't see any little pumpkins on it yet :(
